Review of Rollerball (2002) by Steven S — 21 Jul 2010
Saw it when I was a teen, and i've got to admit it blown up my mind : parts of its fictional society became our present-day reality and maybe a dreadful glimpse of things yet to come.
That movie is still viewed as a masterwork in Europe while barely remembered in the States. Maybe its message had been to profound for being understood by filmgoers only eager to actually play RollerBall.
A must-have and still a must-see.
