Rollerball does what all good scifi should, give us entertainment while delivering a poignant message.
Though I found the rules and such in the actual game of Rollerball a little ridiculous, that is part of the point the filmmakers were trying to make.
The combination of message about sport, politics, control of the population, celebrity, etc. all come together to form one fun and meaningful film.
The sequel missed the mark in almost all aspects.
