Review of Rollerball (2002) by Steven Y — 31 Mar 2009
Rollerball is trash. If I had to resume the movie in three words, those were them. But, I feel like there is more to say. Just to warn you better. If you're into violent games, watch hockey. Rollerball is just gonna bore you out.
Chris Klein has less charisma than a black pen. His acting is as bad as Halle Berry's Catwoman. Rebbeca Romjin-Stamos... well, she's beautiful. I believe she's the upside of the movie. Jean Reno, who I thought was an OK actor, has just disappointed me.
This is definitely his worst performance in his career. He is just awful. And the story, urgh... it's just disgustingly bad. I guess that's enough warning. Remember- the only reason I gave this movie a 2 is Rebbeca.
But if you really want to watch her, rent X-Men. You'll actually feel better about yourself.
