Review of Rollerball (2002) by Katherine B — 01 Jun 2011
This is one of my all time favorites. I used to love it as a kid for fast action. Now though I am stunned by the acting and the overall depth of this film. Cann is amazing as the admittedly none too bright jock who suddenly finds out the world isn't all wine and roses.
John Houseman is just plain evil as Bartholomew. The rest of the cast is jim dandy too. Don't be fooled by the violence. Watch the underlying movie. BTW; Watch for Richard LeParmentier. He's the real villian in this movie.
...backstabbing and evil.
