Review of Rollerball (2002) by Dave J — 22 Jun 2012
The 'cult classic' label should read more like 'missed opportunity'. Outside the arena, due to an unforgivably apathetic direction, this film fails to recreate the violent futuristic decadence paranoia that is achieved with the exciting rollerballing sequences.
James Caan's great performance even seems a little wasted.
