This is a pretty legit sci-fi action movie set as a prelude to A New Hope. The side characters are interesting - the blind guy, the robot, and the big guy with the gun. The main characters are less interesting, but don't hurt the movie too badly.
The humor and action in this movie are great, and the plot is always moving and consistently interesting. What really makes this movie shine is how it really feels like a classic Star Wars movie - just watch the ending and try not to love it.
