Review of Rodan (1956) by Jason D — 11 Sep 2008

The flying sometimes enemy/sometimes friend to Godzilla, Rodan, well, two Rodans, gets their own solo film which is surprisingly dark and somewhat harrowing for a monstrous character that is usually subjected to childish foolery.

Thanks to some particularly nasty giant bugs crawling through the Japanese mines, miners start getting tore the fuck up and the Rodans awake to stip up shit all over China. A good watch, but its no Godzilla!!
