Review of Rocky II (1979) by Buddy A — 08 Sep 2012

It carries a lot of the better traits from the original, just not as strong of a storyline. It now follows the nagging aftermath that both Apollo and Rocky face with there surroundings and the public with the controversial decision of their first fight.

Rocky really doesn't have the motivation and it is interesting to see him not be able to find it until Adrian is truly supporting him in his corner. The script could have been a bit better and more like the first than Rocky being out of place spending money and not in his real element.
