Review of Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979) by Emily R — 05 Feb 2005
Bad moods seem to be the norm around here lately. The week has been incredibly long...So much crap going on and it seems like it will never stop. Just plain unhappiness.
On the other hand, I watched 'Rock 'N' Roll High School' last night for the first time. What a hilarious movie. God bless high school movies with the football players walking (let me side track for a second. A guy in my class just used the term 'cirriculum vitae'. What a nerd. ) anyway, walking around the halls in their uniforms, the school geeks are doing science projects outside at lunch. It is absolutely the most absurd thing in the world. Wait a minute...it is almost as absurd as high school girls being hot for Joey Ramone. Anyway, that movie, a couple bottles of wine, and a few episodes of "The Young Ones" and I was set.
Now I'm tired, still getting over my hang-over, and have some schoolwork to do plus I have to make it back to Lansing.
But tonight is "princess'" birthday. I get to go hang out with him and some of my other coworkers at the Peanut Barrel. That'll be sweeeeeeet.
