Review of Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979) by Andrew H — 26 Sep 2010
Riff Randell is a self-proclaimed Rock N' Roller of her high school. She starts a new wave of other students loving the stuff. As they end up caring more about the music and less about hitting the books, the new principle comes in with her strict no-rock policy. That's when Riff, with the help of The Ramones, saves the school from a school year without rock.
This movie is pretty fun when your in the mood. Mostly silly. There are some pretty funny bits like a rat tested to listen to loud music, eventually exploding afterwards as a teacher has everyone note the loss of hearing.
This movie is for the music fans and cool moms.
