Review of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991) by Mike A — 03 Dec 2009
If we ignore some dreadful accents..An American Robin Hood and a Scottish Richard the Lionheart...then this film is capable of becoming a classic.
The humor is well crafted and observed.
Alan Rickman does his best to steal the film and but for some strong editting in favour of Costner would certainly have achieved it.
Again I have to wonder exactly what some of the "professional" critics actually expect from a film.
