Review of Robin Hood (2018) by Darkwingschmuck — 08 Mar 2022
Full of unintentional laughs, this bonkers take on Robin Hood is played entirely straight. There is nary a whiff of self awareness for its own bizarre tone or mix of modern aesthetics and 18th-century setting.
Not only does this not deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Errol Flynn, it'll make you long for the days of Ridley Scott's dreary adaptation or Kevin Costner's attempt at a British accent.
