Review of Robin Hood (2018) by Eugene B — 21 Nov 2018
A popcorn movie. I went just to see Tim Minchin in a substantial role in an American film and his scenes as Friar Tuck were some of the most entertaining. Foxx and Egerton do an okay job with a script that robs action sequences from 007 to The Italian Job.
Other characters blend into the woodwork. Not an amazing show and it sets itself up for a sequel in the end. Unless Minchin is the lead, I won't be going.
