Honestly, I enjoyed the movie. It had a medieval base but the style gave a modern twist for a specific purpose. The people revolting against a corrupt government, pushing them to fight/pay for wars that only they benefit from, who doesn't want to see the underdogs kick their a**? If anything, watch the movie to support that message!
My teenage girls loved it ... but I think for different reasons.
