Review of Robin Hood (2018) by Heather K — 23 Nov 2018
When you take this as allegory rather than a historical set piece, it makes a lot more sense because the strength is in the individual characters and the story they tell, NOT the historical setting Here you have the war veteran who hates the idea of other people suffering because of his actions; the grieving father who doesn't want to see any more children die; the antiquated woman with modern ideals; the Christian man who follows the actual Gospel and not just the version others want him to believe in; and so forth.
Still very relevant today, green tights or not!
