Although this Robin Hood may seem outdone by some, I found the mix of adventure and comedy to be refreshing. Yes, there were some tropes to be spotted. But if we didnt love tropes already a little, well... then they wouldnt even be tropes in the first place!
So the bottom line is... give it a try! Dont have such high expectations and go watch it to just enjoy the story.
