Review of Robin Hood (2009) by Tibor B — 11 Aug 2010
An early 90s action-adventure that really has not aged well. It is surprising to realise just how big a star Costner was as he doesn't have a huge amount of screen presence and indeed everyone is overshadowed by a marvellously hammy Rickman.
Reynold's direction is crude and glossy and only in a few lighter moments of the excessive running time does the film show any signs of life.
