Review of Robin and Marian (1976) by Jason C — 30 Jan 2010
Not nearly as good as I wanted it to be but still worth watching. Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn team up to tell the tale of Robin Hood in his later years. Returning from the Crusades and war in France, Robin finds the sheriff up to his same old tricks in Nottingham.
Descent story, good acting but it does kind of lay there at times. This is Hepburn's first time on screen after a break to raise her family so it good to see her return to the big screen. The highlight for me was Richard Harris as Richard the Lionheart, great cameo.
