Review of Robin and Marian (1976) by Bill T — 24 Jun 2009
Slightly slow, not much action, and sluggishly paced, but still this film os oddly watchable. This film takes place 20 years AFTER Robin Hood won over Maid Marion and fought for King Richard. Now, he's old and tired, King Richard turned out to be a bastard, Marian's a nun, and the Sherriff of Nottingham has become annoying.
Robin Hood, as played by Sean Connery, dusts off his cronies and tries to take over the forest again, but their ages don't help. The action scenes arent really going to make you line up for this, but the story is just oddly interesting that it becomes passable.
