Review of Robin and Marian (1976) by Adriano B — 16 Feb 2010
Robin Hood is the stuff of Legend... literally. Both him and the Sheriff of Nottingham bring forward a chivalric game which is matter of dreams, love, and humans' effort, being at the same time childish, innocent and noble, while more brutal and realistic forces trample everything.
A mostly male point of view courting Death and Eternity in gracious woman's cloth. Two legendary actors in the same movie. Mythmaking.
