Review of Road to Perdition (2002) by Jarred L — 23 Jan 2010
I just saw this movie for the first time since it first came out and forgot how fantastic this movie is. The critics didn't like it TOO much just because they're expecting another "American Beauty" from Sam Mendes.
Sam Mendes brought a lot to directing in "American Beauty" but brings much more to this film. The cinematography and directing are fantastic, and the film gets even better with the incredible cast and score by my favorite film composer (Thomas Newman).
Just see it, it's a great father-son epic that will play with your emotions over and over.
