A stunning work of art moving at 24 frames per second. Everything about this film is impeccable, from the directing, to the acting, to the screenplay, to Conrad Hall's breathtaking cinematography. Simply incredible.
In my opinion, this easily tops American Beauty as Sam Mendes' finest film. A masterpiece.
