Being Jason Momoa's directorial debut, Road to Paloma isn't exactly a masterpiece, nor will it turn into a cult classic or a timeless gen, but the film is an achievement nonetheless for being well-acted and boasting beautiful cinematography.
However, the film isn't for everyone, given the holes in the narrative and slow pacing, which might turn off the general audience expecting Jason Momoa to pull off a Khal Drogo/Conan-esque flick.
