Jason Momoa is like Dave Bautista. They balance completely forgettable movies with massive productions. Although Bautista has shown to have a little more rank.
I see Momoa, and all I see is the same dude, just in a different setting and in a different story.
Road to Paloma is no different, and he directed it.
