Throw out your preconceptions â?? this is a smart and delightful film. I was not kind when I first saw the marketing for this film, and neglected to see it in theaters. Then I the glowing reviews started popping up here and there, and I was encouraged to give it a chance.
Unfortunately, I waited for the rental, and the film bombed at the box office. This is why we can't have nice things. Hopefully, it will continue to find an audience on home video and convince the powers that be to green light a sequel.
Just don't hold your breath.
