Review of Rise of the Guardians (2012) by Matt C — 22 Jul 2018

Jeeez I found this boring but the kids (my 5 year old in particular) seemed pretty involved. My eldest kept reciting parts of the plot to me so he was clearly keeping up. It does have some nice emotional touches in the second half and a touching (albeit simple) emotional message for kids so those were plus points.

On the whole though it felt like one of those films where it was only about 3D so lots of virtual swooping camerawork. Hopefully they don't make me watch it again!
