I had a lot of trouble with this movie. It's not fun to watch at all. In fact I was a bit stressed out by the convoluted ending. And yet, the reason why I was stressed was because of its horrific portrayal of gangster life in Britain.
To portray gangsters as violent unstable individuals is to say that what they're doing is clearly wrong, which is what all gangsters movies have done since 'Goodfellas'. And yet it still leaves me mad at it.
It just wasn't fun and I feel a bit foul after watching it.
