With a fascinating idea that hearkens back to Men In Black, a fine story, an okay script full of bland dialogue, a great cast headed by Jeff Bridges, Ryan Reynolds, Kevin Bacon and Mary Louise-Parker, perfect directing by Robert Schwentke, exciting scenes and sequences, interesting visual effects and an alright pace and flow, R.
I.P.D. for most is pointless and wastes its potential but for some its a fun and exciting ride that you can watch over and over again.
