Review of Righteous Kill (2008) by Aaron W — 15 Aug 2009
Underwhelming. Pacino is particularly bad. I don't see why both iconic actors choose this script as a reason to reunite. After all their previous films together (well, Heat and being in the same movie in Godfather II) have been so massive.
Righteous Kill is just another predictable corrupt cop movie. DeNiro occasionally turns the heat up a bit in an otherwise flat movie that suffers from miscasting, lacklustre direction and a script that doesn't translate well to the screen.
