Review of Righteous Kill (2008) by Luke B — 01 Nov 2013
Two New York detectives attempt to track down a serial killer whose targets are only vicious criminals; the film, however, starts with one of them telling the whole story that feels like a confession to a CCTV camera.
De Niro and Pacino are to be blamed for having picked this project in particular to star in. Their meeting, which should have been a big deal, in fact becomes the only 'deal' the movie has to offer the viewer.
It is a rather dull cop movie, which in fact feels a lot like a longer episode of any average cop TV series.
