Review of Ride Lonesome (1959) by Eric R — 22 Jan 2009
A great western about a bounty hunter on a mission to return an outlaw to be hanged for his crimes. Things are quite what they appear in the beginning and the film really has a lot of layers too it. The script is really excellent and feels like it is one of the authentic scripts for a western.
Love the final shot. Budd Boetticher certaintly deserves more praise.
