Very very hard going and a little tedious. However, saying that, some truly remarkable performances from Winslet and DiCaprio as always. More a character study than entertainment, this film managed to capture the truly desperate relationship between Frank and April.
Great performances and an intense atmosphere, but to be honest, unless you are like me (who loves to see DiCaprio and Winslet push themselves to new levels in all roles), then you may as well give this film a miss.
