There was a time when disney knew how to make a good addition to popular franchises. the movie remains pretty true to the source material and the original ideas that were added to the framework of the story were thought provoking.

I can't stand when people compare it to the 1939 mgm film and complain that it's too dark for kids. Its worth checking out.
