Review of Retreat (2011) by Alex C — 30 Apr 2012
A dark home invasion thriller with strong performances from all three characters, particularly Jamie Bell. A couple rescue a man who claims there is a worldwide epidemic going around and won't let them leave the island.
The central question is, is Jack telling the truth, or is he a psychopath holding them hostage? The answer is worth giving the movie a watch.
