(2012) Resident Evil: Retribution.
SCIENCE FICTION ACTION.
One would have to get past a heck a lot of nothing that occurred from the first half hour or so...in order to be fully involved. What is it, it's like the 5th "Resident Evil" movie (not including the computer animated cartoon) starring Milla Jovovich coming back to zombie epidemic that has ravaged the earth. In this one, she wakes up yet again after being unconscious after going into the ocean from an explosion. She wakes up after dreaming about her husband and child, and it turns out that she's in this huge underground dome where hallucinatory images can be created within some buttons. With someone hacking computers to help her escape with at the same time 5 experienced agents sent down below to retrieve her to safety. Lots of action sequences, many of it helped by CGI but does contain some scenes I had never saw before. Written, directed and co-produced by Paul W.S. Anderson, the guy who started the "Resident Evil" movies. Theirs some obvious influencing from the "Underworld" movies.
2.5 out of 4 stars.
