Review of Resident Evil: Retribution (2012) by Marco Santos R — 05 May 2013

I didn't find this movie very entertaining. The whole story is already so confused that the movie has to start with a flashback explaining how on earth we got there in order to then take us through more of the same.

They didn't even bother getting new monsters. The same tall, nails in his head, steaks beating hammer wielding, boss from the previous movie shows up again. Also leon and ada show up from the games, but both are very disappointing, especially from someone who's seen them in a game.

Unfortunately it does not add much to the story (and did I mention that it's getting more and more confusing?) and it is clearly a movie incapable of being viewed as a single piece. Recommended only for those that still have some feelings towards this.
