An exciting, rousing super hero film with Milla Jovovich in absolute top form. It is difficult not to take her seriously in every scene because she is such a skilled actress. I am totally in love with her! Retribution was not a disappointment like the other Resident Evil films - it was something entirely different on its own.
It has taken on a new life - a departure from the games, the previous films, and all expectations. In spite of its glaring flaws, big action movie set pieces that don't always work, Retribution stands alone.
