Review of Resident Evil (2002) by Adrian Z — 12 Nov 2012
A promising set up and tantalizing outro bookend a generic zombi movie, rather loosely based on the eponymous video game. Jovovich is deliriously sexy as the heroine, and strikes action poses wonderfully.
Eyecandy surplus. Problem is, besides cardboard characters, much of the action is confined to gloomy corridors in an underground high tech facility: It gets boring after a short while.
