Review of Repulsion (1965) by Carla S — 07 Sep 2008
Polanski goes for genuine creeps as opposed to shock scares and pulls it off superbly. The brilliant soundtrack is matched by Gilbert Taylor's always interesting photography. And the sexual undertones are brought out so well by Polanski from a solid if not spectacular script.
