Superb, petrifying masterpiece from Roman Polanski remains an unbelievably intense experience after all these years. Next to THE CHINA SYNDROME, this is my vote for the scariest movie of all time, almost making THE EXORCIST look like a comedy in comparison.
Dizzying and claustrophobic, with the fine Catherine Deneuve in what his arguably her seminal performance.
