Review of Rendition (2007) by Everybodys Runner Up — 24 Nov 2008
For a simple little government involvement in foreign politics movie, I'd have to say that I enjoyed it. Movies like Syriana and Body of Lies required that we pay close attention to what's going on, but Rendition is a much simpler movie that I could watch, and not have to think back to earlier in the movie to recall who or what is going on.
The actors were fair enough. Gyllenhall is a favorite of mine, and did a pretty good job, but I think the actors, for the most part, knew this wasn't going to be a big time, Oscar potential movie.
