Review of Rendition (2007) by Megan R — 26 Dec 2008
Great Soundtrack! Encapsulates the moral dilemmas and realities of using authoritarian allies and subcontracting the War on Terror. Emphasizes the implications of the use of torture in creating cycles of violence.
Good portrayal of the diversity of Muslims and Muslim lifestyles in Egypt, from secular elites drinking alcohol to poor youths struggling to get by who are easily manipulated by political entrepreneurs who use them as weapons.
