Review of Red Sparrow (2018) by Ash A — 02 Mar 2018
This movie was spectacular and thrilling! If you haven't read the book (which the movie is based off of) you won't understand the movie at all, thus the negatove reviews. The book is long and the first 100 pages are boring but once you get into the middle of the book is where it comes to life and start to make sense.
This was a movie so not a lot of the book was able to be put in the movie, they took the main bits and pieces and made a wonderful movie and I look forwarded to the sequel and third rendition.Only thing I really can't stand is the fact they had her getting back at her friends that caused her to injure herself by almost killing them, THAT didn't happen at all and she injured herself training at ballet school NOT on stage.
They also had who owned her apartment wrong etc but I am nitpicking. Go see the movie and STOP listening to negatives reviews that clearly ONLY came to see sex scenes and violence.
