Suspenseful spy thriller featuring solid performances all around.. the plot machinations are interesting... some of the creative choices were a bit odd... a few scenes have people actually speaking russian but the rest of the time they speak accented english.
. I think they should have just picked one or the other.. the switches are a bit jarring... and Jennifer Lawrence really doesnt do the accent very well.. it comes and goes and sometimes reads like a bad dracula thing.
.. however her performance outside of that is good.. Some pretty graphic torture scenes make this not for the feint of heart.
