Review of Red Shoe Diaries (1992) by Ryan J — 23 Oct 2009
SPOILER ALERT.
Such a sexy film. Beautifully shot and directed. It's definitely a visual masterpiece, and that guitar filled score really set the mood for this sultry tale. The plot itself is quite good, nothing out of the ordinary but the direction and visual style kept the narrative so interesting. Kudos to the director for that. The ending however, with Duchovney's character putting out the ad for more diaries, that doesn't make sense at all.
