Review of Red River (1988) by Sandy Aka Earthmama — 20 Jun 2008
This is the first movie I remember seeing. Maybe that acounts for it being so importent to me. But I have loved it all these years and the Duke being the hardass, I think he did it very well. The excitement of the start of the drive, the horror of the stampede so add to the myriad feelings of this movie.
I think too many people underrate the Duke, but of course Monty was always great. One of the finest westerns made.
