Review of Red Eye (2005) by J K — 04 Jun 2010
An underrated and underappreciated thriller in the same vein as Hitchcock. It's that good. Wes Craven made a name for himself for his horror films but he does suspense as well as anyone out there. Cillian Murphy is good as a bad guy.
I mean he is REALLY good. I'm surprised he doesn't do more films like this. He was a good Scarecrow in Batman Begins. Rachel McAdams shows off her acting range in this film. Didnt do as well at the box office, but a very good suspenseful movie worth multiple viewings just to watch the exchanges between Murphy and McAdams on the plane.
