Review of Red Beard (1965) by Kwong C — 15 Oct 2011

It's a very good, and very long movie. I think it could actually be turned into a mini-series; it has a great setting, interesting characters each with interesting sub-plot. Cinematography was exceptional; one thing I found interesting is that, there were quite a few scenes with 3 characters, usually two of them were in conversation, but unlike most other films, the 3rd person in Red Beard is always in focus as well.

I was actually more drawn to the 3rd person than the two who were talking.
