Review of Rebel Without a Cause (1955) by Geraldine A — 18 Jan 2009
I thoroughly enjoyed this. you got to understand that it was a totally different time back then. I loved the relationship shared between the three esp the relationship that could have been between plato and jim. Also, the side story of jim trying to let his father understand him but to no avail.. isn't that what everyone could relate to? and the fact that he wanted his father to stand up for him, to be someone he could rely on.
It was a finely made tragedy drama for its time and anyone who likes james dean would want to watch it for his outstanding performance.
