Review of Rebel Without a Cause (1955) by Jeff H — 26 May 2010
Extraordinary! Marvelous in every way! This film deserves the recognition it has gotten for over 50 years. More than anything else it established the immortalized icon, James Dean. It is most certainly the best performance of any actor, and he gave a truly original, touching performance.
However, it's not only James Dean that makes this film remarkable (even though he does look absolutely GORGEOUS), but the story and how relatable it is to its target audience: teenagers. This isn't that much of an outdated movie, and I believe everybody can enjoy the film even if you're not a fan of old movies.
I confidently state that this is one of my favourite movies of all time!!! See it if you haven't!!!!! (Oh, yeah, and I wanted to give credit to the supporting cast. They're amazing too!!).
